Prior to the formation of the firm in August 1984, Michael J. Knight, CPA, managing partner, was a senior tax manager with Price Waterhouse. Since 1975, he has provided tax consulting and accounting services for companies ranging in size from start up operations to Fortune 500 corporations. He has extensive experience in coordinating individual and small business planning, and in representing clients before the IRS. Michael J. Knight is a frequent speaker at small business planning forums and has appeared before the U.S. Congress and the IRS on small-business issues. He has chaired the New York State Society of CPA's Task Force on the Commission for Restructuring the IRS and testified in Washington before the national commission. He has appeared on CNBC, MSNBC, and WBIZ and is regularly interviewed by business publications including the Wall Street Journal, Inc. magazine, Money magazine, Accounting Today, Business Week, USA Today, Journal of Taxation, and the Tax Adviser. Mr. Knight is an award-winning journalist whose tax-related articles have been published in accounting journals.

John M. Rolleri, CPA, principal, began began his career with Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Mr. Rolleri, a certified fraud examiner,  has conducted fraud investigations leading to successful convictions. He combines both an audit and tax background with a thorough understanding and use of microcomputers to form the comprehensive audit approach. With professional accounting experience in both the public and private sectors, Mr. Rolleri understands the business decisions relative to operating a successful business. Mr. Rolleri has been appointed by the State Society of Certified Public Accountants to perform peer reviews of other accounting firms which are required by professional standards. 

In addition to the principals, Mr. Knight and Mr. Rolleri, the firm is staffed by certified public accountants and professional associates.
